This Privacy Policy applies specifically to TeachAI, including the TeachAI website, web workspace, and mobile applications (collectively, the “Service”). It explains what information we process, why we process it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and authentication records when you create or use an account.
• Content you provide: prompts, chat messages, curriculum selections, files, and other material you submit to generate teaching content.
• Subscription information: product, entitlement, renewal, and transaction status supplied by the relevant app store and subscription infrastructure. TeachAI does not receive your full payment-card number.
• Technical and usage information: device and browser type, app version, approximate region, language, feature usage, diagnostics, and security events.

How we use information

We use information to provide and personalize TeachAI, generate requested content, synchronize your account, manage subscriptions and allowances, maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, improve product performance, and comply with applicable law.

AI processing and service providers

Content you submit may be sent to contracted AI and cloud infrastructure providers solely to deliver the requested feature. We also use service providers for hosting, email authentication, analytics, error monitoring, and subscription management. They may process information only to provide services to us and under appropriate contractual safeguards.

Retention

Local conversations remain on your device unless you sign in and use synchronization. Synced account data is retained while your account is active and as needed to operate the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. We retain security and transaction records for the periods required by law and legitimate fraud-prevention needs.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We disclose information only to service providers described above, when you direct us to do so, to protect users or the Service, as part of a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards, or when required by law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information about yourself or students.

Children and student information

TeachAI is designed for educators and other adults, not for direct use by children under 13. Educators must follow their institution’s rules and applicable student-privacy laws and should not submit directly identifying student information unless they have a lawful basis and authorization to do so.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing. You may also manage app permissions, analytics choices provided by your platform, and subscription settings through the relevant app store.

International processing

TeachAI and its service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as TeachAI evolves. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service.
